Roadway Paving Notice

Crews are scheduled to pave the roadway with new asphalt on 2600 North (from 600 West to 180 West) and also portions of 600 W, 550 W, and 180 W (near the intersections). Paving will begin Friday, May 31, and is expected to be complete by Saturday, June 1.

DRIVEWAYS/PARKING/IMPACTS

Multiple passes will be required to complete the paving. The roadways will remain accessible for local traffic (with some limitations/delays); however, as they pass in front of your property, it will become necessary to temporarily restrict access to your property’s driveway/entrance. Roadway access on the new pavement will be allowed again (approximately 1 hour) after the asphalt has been rolled and cooled. On-street parking along 2600 North and impacted side streets will be prohibited within the work zones during paving. Residents nearby will likely experience noise and vibrations from the equipment.

As always, please be careful, and pay attention to workers, signs, and equipment.

Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and/or material availability.

OTHER WORK ALONG 2600 NORTH
Crews will continue additional work along the project corridor. Roadways are expected to remain accessible; however, brief interruptions or lane shifts may be required within the work zones.

ALTERNATE/DETOUR ROUTES

The following are roads designated as alternate/detour routes to help navigate around the construction zones:

   4000 North/Harvey Blvd (900 West for access north of 2600N)

   1800 North (1300 West or 600 West for access south of 2600N)
